Bike down the scenic Pine Creek Rail Trail knowing that you don’t have to make the return trip, or even bring your own bike! All cycling excursions begin at Pine Creek Outfitters in Ansonia, PA, a short drive from Wellsboro, and include optional bike rentals and a shuttle service to bring you back from one of two popular ending locations along the Rail Trail. Pricing varies by ending location, so let us know where you’d like to stop, and we’ll make the rest of the arrangements for you. Check out Pine Creek Outfitters’ biking page for more information about the trail. In addition to the Pine Creek Rail Trail shuttles, Pine Creek Outfitters also offers guided mountain biking excursions. When you’ve finished your ride, check in with us to relax in the historic charm of our Hotel, which houses our on-site restaurant and boasts a wood-burning fireplace in our full-service Lounge; or the modern convenience of our Lodge, where you’ll find spacious suites and our pool and fitness center. Whichever property you choose to stay at, you’re welcome to make use of the facilities at both.

This 1.5- to 2-hour mountain bike excursion is led by Pine Creek Outfitters owner, Jon Dillon, who provides historical context to the tour, which begins beyond Colton Point and ends at the Outfitters. The most physically demanding of the bike trips, the route is comprised of a long, windy path that is a mixture of trail, unpaved, and paved road. With a lot of downhill and some rough terrain, this tour does require some biking experience and is not recommended for novice cyclists or children under age 10. Hotel bookings beginning at $94 per person before tax, double occupancy. Mountain bike rentals are included in the price.
