Tioga Central Railroad

These historic tracks opened in 1840 as part of the Tioga Railroad, and since 1994 they have hosted the scenic passenger excursion trains of Tioga Central.

The Tioga Central Railroad, located in Wellsboro, PA, operates excursion and charter trains on a 34-mile railroad extending north from Wellsboro to a location about three miles south of Corning, New York. Excursion trains operate from the Wellsboro Junction, three miles north of Wellsboro on State Route 287, to the north end of Hammond Lake in Tioga.

Regular excursion trains operate on Friday and Saturday from Memorial Day into October.
