The Penn Wells Hotel -- 62 Main Street, Wellsboro, PA 16901

If you are looking for a classic and comfortable place to stay, then we are ready to welcome you at the Penn Wells Hotel. From 1816 until the present, our site has always been occupied by a tavern, inn or hotel. In 1869, the present four-story brick hotel was built. In 1925, the Cole House was purchased by a group of local residents who closed it for extensive renovations. It then reopened in 1926 as the Penn Wells Hotel. The hotel that you can stay in today remains basically the same as it was in 1925.

On the first floor of the hotel you can experience our luxurious lobby with large fireplace, front desk, lounge and the famous Mary Wells Dining Room. Upstairs you will find 73 rooms which still hold the charm of years gone by. Wireless internet is available in the lobby and the rooms to keep you connected to the world.  The Hotel offers many different style rooms, from double beds to king size beds.
