Wellsboro Winter Celebration

Wellsboro residents combat winter fatigue by coming out to play in a big way during the Winter Celebration, held annually on the second or third weekend in February.

During February’s Winter Celebration weekend, Wellsboro streets come alive with ice sculptures and people out to take in their beauty. Wellsboro’s downtown Main Street shopping district features a variety of special activities, including the popular chili tasting with a chance for chocolate. Add in the Mt. Tom Challenge climb, winter games and activities for children of the Green, and lectures and concerts for all at the Deane Center, Winter Celebration marks a good weekend to get away in Wellsboro.
